A Change Of "Scene": Selenita's Done With Her Band

But in a nice amicable way. Not in a messy breakup kind of way. No one is barking about getting half the royalities or dividing the drum stick collection evenly.
Because she is ready to start focusing on her movie career, Selena Gomez is setting her band The Scene free to explore differenct opportunities for thesmelves. As Selenita explained on her Facebook page this week, everyone is on great terms and remains friends despite the split. She writes:
"My band and I are going our separate ways for a while. This year is all about films and acting and I want my band to play music wherever with whoever. We will be back but, it will be a good while. I love them and I love you guys."
No word on whether they love her back…
We're just kidding! Of course they do! How could they not? There doesn't seem to be an ounce of hostility in anything she's saying there; in fact, she seems super supportive of the guys and wants them to succeed without her.
This Disney darling is just doing right by her boyz! Best of luck to them — and her — on this next chapter!

oh please!!
i bet no one knew they were part of the band. i always saw them as the guys playing the instruments, not her band mates.
selena should just quit music period!! she sucks and has not singing talent whatsoever!
Re: vampgirl1991 – First of all, she really is a good singer. Second, every one of her cd's says, Selena Gomez and The Scene, so how is that just some guys playing the instruments.
Good. She sucked at singing.
I guess she thought she could do better ever since she got with her "sugar baby" Justin.
Re: Christik – Actually she's a really bad singer. Even her own fans have admitted this..
I highly doubt that she'll ever come back to music. Ever. Every Disney star who tries to sing never does music again. As for her acting, it always seems forced. Besides, she's not a very good singer. She can't even carry a tune when singing live. I feel sorry for the little kids who wasted their money on her albums. It's just all in a day's work as a manufactured product of Disney.
