Michael Bay Signs On To Pain And Gain!
We guess Michael Bay doesn't just need the Transformers moniker to helm a big-budget, explosion-fest!
As part of his new, two-picture deal with Paramount, the director has signed on to make Pain and Gain, a $25 million action flick starring Mark Wahlberg and The Rock as bodybuilders who get caught up in a kidnapping, extortion, and murder plot!
According to Adam Goodman, President of Paramount’s Film Group:
“Michael has been working on Pain And Gain for a number of years but has patiently waited for the perfect casting to trigger a start. Clearly his patience has paid off as we couldn’t be more excited about this combo. His passion for this project is just awesome.”
Well, it's apparently based on a true story, so maybe there will be more to it than how it initially sounds!
Either way, we're sure it will have NO trouble becoming a box office smash!
