They may be 7,500 miles apart, but they are always in each other's hearts!

On the world's most romantic day, the Duchess of Cambridge received a lot of love on Valentine's Day from the people of Liverpool, England. As her husband is currently serving on a helicopter search-and-rescue crew in the Falkland Islands for six weeks, Kate opted to spend the day working for one of her many charities: the Alder Hey Children's Hospital.

Kate took plenty of time to visit with her admirers, young and old, and received numerous offerings of flowers and candy. Of course, the most beautiful arrangement she received was from her husband William, who sent over flowers and a card earlier in the day.

Nobody said it was easy being royalty, but it sounds like these two make it work!

You are so ridiculous. They've been married, what, a year? And they are making it work? Talk to us in 10 years (or even 5) and see if it's still the same. Lots make it "work" through the first year. Some things you say are so immature and dumb it blows my mind.

    HRH wouldn't dare!

You know, it must be SO HARD being born into royalty. And even harder being married into it! What with the free designer dressed, 28 room mansions, legions of servants, privates jets and public adoration, I don't know how they manage. As you said…no one said it was easy being royalty.

But it's pretty fucking obvious it isn't hard.

WOW! Six whole weeks apart? And during Valentines Day? Yes, that must be so hard. I'm sure military families feel the same way when their loved ones are gone for months to over a year in a dangerous combat zone. While they miss children growing up, Birthdays, graduations, first days of school…

Gosh, I'm so glad they are making it work through those tough, tough times!
