This is getting ugly, quickly.
Sean Penn has gone on the offensive against the United Kingdom regarding their dispute with Argentina "over the islands both countries claim in the far South Atlantic."
He's accusing UK media of pushing war as opposed to diplomacy! Here's what he had to say about it:
"Good journalism saves the world. Bad journalism destroys it."
"My oh my, aren't people sensitive to the word 'colonialism,' particularly those who implement colonialism."
And here's Sean on Prince William's six-week air force mission to the islands:
"It's unthinkable that the United Kingdom can make a conscious decision to deploy a prince within the military to the Malvinas, knowing the great emotional sensitivity both of mothers and fathers in the United Kingdom and in Argentina who lost sons and daughters in a war over islands with a population of so few."
"There are many places to deploy a prince. It's not necessary when the deployment of a prince is generally accompanied by a warship, to send them into seas of such spilled blood."
Members of the UK media are NOT pleased with Sean over his comments, and we'd imagine that the UK in general is not on Team Penn right now…and probably won't be anytime soon.
What do U think? Do U agree with Sean Penn's comments? Or do U think it's not his place to get involved???
