Oh no. Please don't tell us there's another Conrad Murray running around. We don't think we can stomach that.

Yesterday, we reported the news that Whitney Houston's doctors were being interviewed by investigators to determine what kinds of medication the singer was on prior to her death. Now, subpoenas have been distributed to her doctors as well as her pharmacists to obtain deceased Whitney's medical and drug records.

Assistant chief coroner Ed Winter assured the press that this was standard procedure in a case such as this and at the moment, there is no reason to suspect that any of these physicians played any part the death of the diva. The cause of death still widely is considered the mixture of alcohol and prescription pills.

We're just hoping some real closure for her family soon. All tis speculation and investigation must be tearing them apart, most especially her mother and daughter.

We continue to offer our condolences to her family, friends and fans who are feeling this loss.

Doctors should be held accountable for unethical medical practice which includes the over-prescribing of drugs. This can be hard to prove when so many patients lie to their doctors, and have multiple doctors, but it is a wide spread problem. Not just with stars, but with everyone else as well. But while that is part of the problem, in my opinion, it is the addict who is the one most responsible for their addictions.

you report this like it is some big deal, SOP. subpoenas have to be gotten for the MD's and PHARMS to ethically and legally release the records. they shouldn't release the records with out the court order EVEN if they wanted to. read the hipaa rules you turd.

why is everyone blaming her doctors? she took the drugs. her doctors didn't know other doctors were prescribing. if blame must be placed let's place it where it belongs … with the person consuming the drugs. she would have got them from another source if she didn't get them from her doctors.
