Kevin Costner To Speak At Whitney's Funeral

Kevin Costner wants to honor his co-star's memory.

The actor will speak at Whitney Houston's funeral Saturday, joining Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder on the list of those to honor the singer.

The two co-starred in Whitney's highest grossing film, The Bodyguard. Whitney also performed I Will Always Love You in the film as well.

Costner will also be joined by Clive Davis, who sources say has "been a rock" for the family and talks to them hourly. This comes after their perturbation about his pre Grammy party.

The Bodyguard grossed over $400 million. We'll see who else will come forward leading up to her funeral Saturday.

    It was his idea for her to record Dolly's song in the Bodyguard! Also his idea for her to sing acapella in the first few bars…Whitney was jealous for years that Dolly was the one that made so much more money off the song than she did…….

    I feel sadder now about Whitney's death than I did Saturday night when I first heard about it. Having grown up with Whitney as a part of the soundtrack to the 80's an most of the 90's I feel like know her even though I don't. Rest In Peace Whitney :(

    Remember Coster originally wanted Madonna for that role, but she being the rude bitch that she is,made fun of Kevin, so he gave the part to Whitney

    I loved that movie and the song, although I also love Dollie's version as well. Think DP has a better voice.
