Oh no! We hope nothing too terrible has happened.
Last night, if you were looking to see an all-new episode of The Colbert Report, you were probably dismayed to see a re-run in the time slot instead. Now we have more bad news for you - it's going to be like that all week long!
The show has released a statement confirming that repeat episodes of Stephen Colbert's acclaimed show will air for the remainder of the week, but offered no reason as to why the show's gone on this unexpected hiatus.
Even more disappointed than the fans who watch the show on TV are the audience members who had tickets for this week's shows. They receieved an email early this morning, saying:
“Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have canceled our taping for the date of your ticket reservation, Feb. 15, 2012. We are very sorry for any inconvenience.”
Strange. What could have happened? We definitely starting to get worried, that's for sure. Hopefully, Stephen or someone from the staff will shed some light on his mysterious production halt soon.
