This is definitely somthing to be proud of!
Angelina Jolie received a standing ovation in Sarajevo, Bosnia, where In the Land of Blood and Honey premiered.
Based on the Bosnian War, many attendees were thrilled by Angelina's portrayal of their country. Many of the moviegoers lived through the war that ravaged Sarajevo and other Bosnian cities, so it particularly resonated with them.
A tearful Angelina thanked the fans and said the following:
To see you receiving it so well means the world to me. I feel so deeply for all of you in this country.
She added "Thank you" in Bosnian. How touching!
Angie returned to acting with Maleficent but she has left the door open to return to directing, but only if she feels just as passionate about the project.
With a movie like In the Land of Blood and Honey, that will be tough to match!
