We're glad to hear that they were able to put their differences aside for the sake of this.

Although several of Whitney Houston's family members were opposed to having Bobby Brown at her funeral tomorrow in New Jersey, as many believe him to be responsible for the icon's descent into substance abuse, they've formally invited him to attend at the last minute!

A source explains:

"At the last minute, the family felt that it would keep the peace at the funeral [to have Bobby there] … even though some family members were against it."

We can obviously understand why it might be hard for some to have him there, but the reality is, whether they agree with it or not, Bobby was a part of her life and he deserves just as much an opportunity to say good-bye to her.

You're all in our thoughts and prayers during this impossibly difficult time.

He needs to be there for his daughter.

I wish people would stop blaming Bobby Brown for Whitney's demise.. She was a big girl , she made her own decisions. And kept making those bad decisions long after her and Bobby were divorced.

Im with sassygril. He might have given her the lighter for that crack pipe, but SHE decided to smoke it.

You know what's sad about that pic? Bobby Brown thought he looked good in that hat.

They both owned their life when together. They split six YEARS ago! He cleaned up and works hard for his new partner and child. Those close to her now bear more witness to what she was putting herself through. She was ultimately responsible for her own behavior.
