Charlie Sheen Still Harboring Bitterness Over Two & A Half Men Feud, Says Ashton "Sucks"

| Filed under: TV NewsAshton KutcherCelebrity FeudsCharlie Sheen

Well! Suck language! Should we infer that you're not having the best experience filming your new pilot?

You might've thought that things had finally blown over for Charlie Sheen as far at the whole Two & A Half Men controversy goes, but you would be very, VERY wrong. Turns out, Charlie still has TONS to say about the show that kicked him to the curb and about the man the hired to replace him.

In no holds barred interview, Charlie let loose with his lips about how the writing on the show has gone downhill and that Ashton Kutcher's performance "sucks" compared to what he used to do. He says:

"I'm tired of lying, I'm tired of pretending like the show doesn't suck, I'm tired of pretending like Ashton doesn't suck, I'm tired of pretending like they're not completely adrift. When you take away the anchor from your show, which they stupidly did, you go adrift … It's nothing personal. I just feel bad for [Kutcher], he's saddled with such bad writing. I mean, I had some pretty bad writing over the years. "

Aaaand he went there!

Wow. What happend to that old saying, "time heals all wounds?" Does that not apply to you, Charles? Are we going to have to hear about this for the next 30 years? Maybe it's time to start looking forward instead of looking back! Just give it a try, huh?

Charlie's right. The show does suck with Kelso, I mean Ashton. The writers haven't changed so it has to be something else.

  2. 2

I think Charlie is right. It does suck!! I think he gave it a chance and the fact is, it sucks! He's never been one to hide his opinion..why start now..

  3. 3

    Sheen, bitter party of ONE

  4. 4

Well, he's not lying, I used to love the show with him on it, but now it REALLY, REALLY sucks! Not a single laugh on any episode… either bring him back or cancel the show.

  5. 5

    He IS correct.

I cannot believe the show even gets good ratings - I gave it a slight chance but was readily bored to death. Ashton comes off as a total dork on this show. Maybe Ashton is a dork ! Can't stand to watch it.

I tried watching it without charlie…… I rather watch grass grow on cement…. it really sucks without charlie..

  8. 8

Whether or not Charlie's right is irrelevant. He has no dignity, no class, never learned to keep his trap shut and is, by far, the biggest all around tool.

I have to agree that I don't like Ashton's character. I think the show might have had a chance but they shouldn't have changed the formula. They should have introduced a character that was very similar to Charlie's and just continued the show in the same way.

Oh Perez shut the fuck up. He is exactly right. Who the fuck is watching that show still?

  11. 11

he's right… ashton does suck and so does the show without charlie….

You do realize that this interview was in response to Warner Bros threatening to sue him over pictures? And, by the way, it does suck. Used to really look forward to that show. Tried to watch it with Ashton but can't. It really sucks. It is a cheapened, watered down version of what it used to be. All the jokes are cheap, they take cheap shots at Charlie and they try to make the other characters like Charlie. They have even stooped to the level of having teenage boys talk about being high, etc. on the show. It is really stupid. Can't watch!

he may be right, but the show sucked with him too. a typically lame cbs comedy for those who need a laugh track to know when things are funny. ugh. charlie was 100 funnier in 1 minute of 'ferris buehler' than 5 years of that show. ugh

  14. 14

He's right. My wife and I tried watching the show with Ashton Kutcher but it's awful. The entire dynamic of the show has been changed and is simply incompatible with laughs. Besides, I think a lot of people resent the fact that Ashton thinks he's a lot funnier than he actually is.

  15. 15

The show is awful. Ashton doesnt have any chemistry with his gf on the show, the themes have been awful - Alans girfriends farting, the kid smoking pot…wheres Berta and the mom and Judith??? Its painful to watch jon Cryer in this debacle and I think they should have a series finale and let it go before it dives in the ratings….I know people have been like me, hopeful and consistently dissapointed to where its off the DVR list. Chuck Lorre, let it rest while its still okay to do so….

  16. 16

Charlie thinks they stupidly dumped him as the lead? What crack is that boy smoking again??? Charlie openly criticized the executive producer of the show, calls him all kinds of names and expected to keep his job? Chuck Lorre worked with a better comedian then Charlie - Brett Butler, and didn't accept her addiction issues when they jepordized that show. So why would he accept Charlie's anticts? He didn't need to and he showed he wouldn't put up with Charlie's bullshit! As for the writting, this was never an extremely well written show, the writting this season has definitely take a nose dive. Ashton's character is not the greatest. However it far from sucks I still laugh at the show…in fact I laugh more because trainwreck Charlie Sheen is no longer on it!

  17. 17

    yep…the show sucks

The ratings for the show are bogus and everyone knows that. CBS has PURPOSEly placed it between two hit shows in order to insure their audience. Since there really is nothing else for it to compete against in that 30 minute window, most people just leave it on and wait for the next show. They're virtually leeching off of Two Broke Girls and Mike and Molly. Put them on at a different night and time and see what happens. Am I wrong?
