Jessie J Found Love At The BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge!

| Filed under: RihannaMusic MinuteJessie J

Wow! Her abilities as a vocalist really shine on this!

During Jessie J's appearance today on the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, the singer took the opportunity to strip down the Rihanna smash hit We Found Love to just bare acoustics, and make it completely her own!

Give it a listen (above)!

Really gorgeous, right?!

It's like you can't even compare the two versions because they're so radically different!

Just wait until she starts breaking it down at the end, though!

Jessie J has an excellent voice and all…but there is something SO incredibly unlikable about her. Maybe it's that she seems to just be shoved down our throats by her record label. Nobody is really buying her music, I never hear anyone actually listen to her music, but…she's still somehow around.

    Way better!!

She has an incredible voice! Definitely doesn't get the credit she deserves… Just wish her album wasn't all over the place. It's too eclectic, there's no direction which is why it didn't do amazing in the US. Still, her voice and talent are undeniable.

I love her tone, but hot damn did she oversing that to death. pull back on the runs a bit sweetie! not needed!

Re: joshz88 – I liked her when she had "Do It Like a Dude" out. It fit her style & I understood her package. Now she still dresses the same but her songs are quasi inspirational pop songs & the two don't match. Whoever does her image or PR needs to reevaluate how she's delivered to the people I guess. I mean I hear her songs on the radio all the time so maybe they're doing something right. Her voice is amazing though.

She sounds ok, but honestly it's like she's forcing it. The runs are random and all over the place. I don't think it's Gorgeous. I honestly like Rihanna's Grammy version better. Pause, I Like PS 22 version better. JESSIE J STOP OVERSINGING this is a simple song. We already have Christina Aguilera running everywhere, so what makes you different? (I'm not trying to be a jerk but honestly, WHO is Jessie J)?

She was great when she did the MTV Music Awards last year,

Unlike Rihanna, Her voice isn't altered by auto-tune and producers. She is a remarkable woman who's been through a stroke at the age of 18, which means she steers clear from drugs and alcohol. That should be taken into account as to what an amazing performer she is. She sings in her own style, not as she's told to.

Re: joshz88 – No one is buying her music? Do you have sources to back this sort of statement up? Actually, she is a MAJOR artist back in the UK and I give her credit for trying to make it big over here where the pool of artists is so soo much bigger. Just because you and your friends don't listen to her does not mean that she has a major global fan base. She only just got big in her home country last year, give the girl some credit.

Any musician would tell you that her voice is totally incredible. How she gets that vibrato is beyond me. She sounds better unproduced, live and acoustic than she does electric and produced. The voice is stunning and how anyone can say she is unlikeable is beyond me. She is going to do some beautiful acoustic song, maybe a torch song, at some point and people are going to be blown away.
