Simon Cowell Has Been Taking An Oxygen Tank To Set!

Picking a new X-Factor judge must be really stressful!

An insider says Simon Cowell has been bringing a can of oxygen to the set of Britain's Got Talent, and "He's been carrying it with him wherever he goes."

But don't start thinking the TV mogul has gotten weak on us!

The oxygen isn't a health necessity, it's a health boost! Breathing pure O2 is to boost his energy and ease stress.

At least… we hope that's all.

Thats not good. These, from what I know, should only be used by people who are having difficulty breathing or have a lung disease.

maybe its to revive the show

Rather than dragging around an oxygen tank, it would be easier to just stop chain smoking.

Sounds like COPD to me. Not good at all. I know middle aged people (50's and 60's) who need an oxygen tank to breath and barely leave their homes because they smoked for over 20 years. Extremely sad to see that. They won't be able to travel and enjoy their retirement. They just sit at home, get worse and worse while waiting to die.

What's with the pic, Simon? Are you trying to prove to the world you have a thumb. Apparently you do. Thanks for clearing that up.

Oxygen comprises only about 21% of the Earth's atmosphere, which is plenty sufficient for a healthy individual. As others have already stated, the only time you need to breathe pure oxygen is when your lung's ability to absorb oxygen is somehow diminished. And also, there is no substantial evidence breathing above-normal amounts of oxygen has any real health benefits. I'm talking to you, oxygen bars.
