The first clip from The Amazing Spider-Man has hit the net, and features the actor very much differentiating his version of the character from Tobey Maguire's, as the superhero tries to get past a doorman while visiting Gwen Stacey, played by Emma Stone!

The movie looks like a Cheesy High School play and every background scene is projected on one of those Green Hollywood Screens….

I'm excited to see this. I really like the cast. I think the key is to set the Tobey Maguire version out of your mind when you watch this one.
Sorry without Tobey it is not worth watching. Not the type of film I normally pay to see, but really enjoyed him in the role.
