wow, they made quite a show out of her funeral!!! have they charged for advertizing or something?

  3. 3

Kevin Costner was hard to follow but Alicia did a remarkable job. I was all tore up after Kevin's speech too. Alicia held it together really well and performed beautifully. Thank you Alicia for that beautiful song. The tributes from Alicia and everyone else were very special.

The post right before this one says how her casket is being guarded at the cemetery till she gets buried tomorrow (Sunday). Now this post says she was laid to rest today (Saturday). Id think Perez or whoever posted it for him, would've caught that. But it did seem like a beautiful service.

Tyler Perry, BB and Ce Ce Wynan's, (hate to admit this) R Kelly , and the end with her being carried out to IWALY was the best. With due respect, this was too long a service.
I got the feeling some were using it to get rediscovered or hear themselves speak. Kevin was ok but he is so boring and made it about him.

You would seem at least a little sincere if you didn't play ads before the clips. You seek out every opportunity for a quick buck, don't you?

  7. 7

That's what Ive been saying, so weird and disrespectful to the souls taken for whatever reason.Telelvised shit is wack as fuck.I don't fucken understand MJ funeral either? These people lived under a American microscope with all there business put out there for many years.Scrutinized by the media to think whatever crazy shit.Yes they chose the profession. What the fuck ever, but keep the shit private. How are the People who are trying to Rest in Peace if this is brought to what I think in my view, cause the death? #SMFH

"All Of The Highlights From Whitney Houston's Funeral HERE." - Really? Highlights? How can that word be used in the same sentence as funeral. You people are such bottomfeeding scumbags.

Re: adg100 – this is exactly what i was going to say, are funerals like the superbowl now? and we have to have highlights?? distasteful

  10. 10

ALL THESE CELEBRITY COFFINS SEEM EMPTY TO ME

  11. 11

You've used this just as an opportunity for ad placement to make as much money as possible. No one should watch any clips ever posted on this shitbag of a site. Hilton is a lowlife opportunist who pretends to be sincere but is just waiting for the next celebrity to die. He is more hated than ever.

who cares this woman was a cracked addicted nasty bitch and Governor Christie should be ashaned of himself for having the flags lowered to half staff disgusting

Yes, Whitney was an outstanding perfomer but enough is enough. All of this has lasted way to long. Too big of a deal out of the death and the funeral. I don't want to come across as being disrespectful or heartless but everyone and their brothers knew that she was an alcohol and drug addicted celebrity. For the last 10 years everyone has been talking about when and how she is going to die and now all of a sudden it happened and everyone is like what ? OMG that poor family. It's been a comin" for a long long long time. She's at peace now so let her be. Too much, way too much.

  14. 14

stop criticising perez and people for showing the funeral she was a public figure and on top of that ur the same fat asses glued to the tv watching the japan disaster or haitian disasters as sick as the world is its the way it is now i feel better for seeing whitneys funeral like a part of it ty..
this way the gans get to see the funeral instead of not being a part of it..

  15. 15

Re: anniebanannie51248 – 100% agree. Not to mention troops have died fighting for our county and they don't get near as much attention we don't even hear about it usually. Whitney Houston had a great voice..but she had substance problems..no need to glorify it so much. I feel bad she wasted her life away.

  16. 16

"highlights" of someones funerals? don't you think that's a bit tasteless? Oh wait it's you perez

  17. 17

Funeral was beautiful until Rev. Winans got ahold of the mike and just would not shut up and went on and on and on and on and nothing about Whitney.. and then to make his family get up to sing one of their hits.. like he wanted them to be resdiscovered and someone to buy their records. He ruined it with his narcissism! Otherwise, it was just beautiful, especially the end when Whitney's voice came in. Notice Rev. Winan's speech was mostly about why people should be a Christian.. wow - not about Whitney at all.

  18. 18

HIGHLIGHTS of her funeral? WTF? that's pretty twisted.

  19. 19

    Tacky.

  20. 20

It was a sad but inpiriational day. I think it gave solace to everyone to know that she came from that world, full of song and full of faith. And even with her troubles, it helps to know she had faith and is at peace. As a fan of that magnificent voice, I'll mourn what might have been. But I'm glad her troubles are over. I pray for mother and daughter. I know their hearts are broken. I pray they can come to peace with all that has happened.

  21. 21

ENOUGH ALREADY! A solid week of every news outlet reporting on every last detail - seriously, the tub photo? - funeral coverage, speeches, who was there, who wasn't. Did they say what she wore in the casket? Maybe the fashion police should do a special segment on "Whitney's Funeral," where Joan could ask people "Who are you wearing today?"
    Ridickerous!

  22. 22

I found the military precision in the way the pall-bearers lifted that beautiful casket into the air then onto their shoulders in one fell swoop extremely impressive. The entire audience gasped when it was lifted into the air. Then they walked off with it balanced on one shoulder. Most impressive, and I want that done at my funeral (sorry for being personal there). And btw, you can see these videos much better on You Tube and there are no ads prior to the videos.
I agree that Rev. Winans seemed to have his own advertising agenda, but then I figured that Whitney and the family loved him, so whatever. I guess, it's not for me to judge or choose whom they worship with. But, he can preach - no doubt about that. And I don't mean to be "flip" but there is something about him that made me feel he would be a perfect choice for playing the part of "Ghost of Christmas Past" in some Dicken's play.
    Peace babies.

  23. 23

I love how you think a funeral has "highlights". Such a douchey thing to say.

  24. 24

what highlights!!?? they dug a hole, dropped the body in, put the dirt back in the hole. no highlight that i can see. now if you're talikng about the circus that was her memorial service, i didn't see any HIGHlights there either, there seemed to be more than their share of LOWpoints.

Re: Lady Who? – I've never watched anything posted by PEEREX "it's MY MONEY" Hasbeen

  26. 26

She wasn't laid to rest in Newark, she was laid to rest in Westfield. Not even the same county, Perez. Get your facts straight.

  27. 27

The drunk/junkie is dead and in the ground can we just stop now. It's funny how a drunk/junkie was castigated by everyone 2 weeks ago because she was loaded and drunk, but she finally gives in to her addiction and dies, now all of a sudden she's a FREAKING SAINT, and never did anything wrong. Junkies and drunks die EVERYDAY, she's just one more of a long list.

  28. 28

where can i buy the dvd..i missed the pay per view…..

  29. 29

Do you think you can hold off on the Bobbi Kristina bad girl stories for at least a week? Please?

@Perez, I think the advertisement on each of these videos is really inappropriate. Really? A haunted house pic on a funeral video? I know you have to pay the bills but dannnnggg that’s cold.
