So Tacky! Whitney Houston's Things Up For Auction

Too Soon!!

Here's a chance for all you rich the scum bags to cash in on Whitney Houston's death.

Blood thirsty auctioneer, Darren Julien, announced his auction house will be selling a few of the late diva's prized possessions next month. The sell of Whitney's black velvet dress (above) as well as a vest and a pair of earrings she wore in The Bodyguard, was announced Sunday, the day after her funeral!

Julien says reasoning is simple: the shit is more valuable now. He says:

"It proves a point that these items, they're an investment. You buy items just like a stock. Buy at the right time and sell at the right time, and they just increase in value."

WTF??

No, that only works with art, cause when an artiest dies they can't create any more. BUT this is her STUFF!! That's not cool!

It's kinda sad. Houston's family can stop nasty looters from trying swipe stuff from the hotel room Whitney died in, but they can't stop seemingly class Beverly Hills auction houses.

ew, this is so disgusting. can't they wait until like…her body is cold enough?

  2. 2

How much is Whitney's CRACK PIPE?

  3. 3

I actually dont see the problem He is right He bought this at some point as an investment and it makes sense to auction it now.

  4. 4

This happens every time a celeb dies, why are you getting your panties in a twist over this one?

  5. 5

OH please. He's making a profit get over it.

  6. 6

Definitely the end of an era–when female pop stars still wore clothes.
Much too soon to be selling this stuff. Fucking idiot!!

  7. 7

Was this in english? What is up with you just throwing crap up here?

  8. 8

it's amazing how human existence has ZERO value for some people.

  9. 9

Please Perez, like you're not profitting off Whitney Houston's death! Every second post you make on here is about her! Be careful who you label a scum bag! You might be looking in a mirror!

  10. 10

big deal. her own family just sold the funeral footage. All do "benefit" Whitney's drug addicted daughter..

  11. 11

Perez your phony outrage is hilarious.

  12. 12

@Okra Panfry's Bucket-O-Wings- Why are you asking? Are you trying to get an early start on your Mother's Day gift?! Yeah, I went there!

As for Perez, yes having an auction this soon is disgusting. But no more disgusting than you wanting to do a close up of Ray J breaking down when they carried Whitney's casket away.

  13. 13

That's pretty funny coming from you who profits too off of her death. You really don't seem to get that you are a scum bag too.

  14. 14

    right or wrong perezita.
SHUT UP, YOU ARE THE LAST PERSON TO HAVE AN OPINION ABOUT IT.

  15. 15

I'm with you Perez, what type of low life bottom sucking leach loser would profit off of the pain and death of people who happen to be famous? What kind of loser? Should be tarred and quartered, don't ya think?

  16. 16

Oh please - anyone who is outraged would certainly change their opinion if they were the owners of the dress. 99% of people would jump to sell.

Whitney was an icon, but she was no Marylin Monroe or Lady Diana……..once the shock wears off the value will drop, not increase.

  17. 17

fuck you peerex, more power to this guy, wish i had some of her shit.

  18. 18

POT/KETTLE hey dickhead how many thousands of clicks have you been paid for on this story,, how much on this article by it self. pretty ironic don't you think a guy bitching about a guy making money on a dead junkie, while you make it yourself on the complaint. ASSWIPE

Re: DeFaust – … and I totally agree. Perez went from being a plain bully to sneaky and greedy…

Aren't people - as we speak - making money off of her or exploiting her death as they sell cds, itunes and play "The Bodyguard" 50 times on tv networks? Is there ever really a right time for an auction of dead people things? I don't know. Its still sort of creepy when Marilyn Monroe things come to the auction block. And was is enough TIME before they liquidated all of Elizabeth Taylor's jewels? Its all rather subjective. The man owns the stuff and sometimes collectors like to strike while the dead pop star is still hot (or cold as the case may be).

  21. 21

Was this the family selling the stuff or stuff somebody already owned?

  22. 22

If i hear WHITNEY HOUSTON one more time, i'm gonna stab my eyeball out. RIP and all that but CHRIST.

  23. 23

Stop with your JUGEMENTAL horse shit you hypocrite. This very website is disgusting. Nothing but gossip hen pecking chatter. Don't act like you care about Whitney…where the hell were u while she was smoking crack for the last 20 years? Tacky? You are tacky.

    Re: CKJ10210 – OMG!!!!! A…fucking…MEN!!!!!!!

Re: CKJ10210 – Agree. Seems to me far too much attention for someone who didn't respect their own life enough to treat their own body like a temple. Loved her voice and past tunes, but this chronic media blow up of tragic deaths is just journalistic laziness to the nth degree. The story is ready made, and has historical pathos. They can run it and bask in the ratings of shocked and saddened people for weeks.
