Antonio Banderas Is Pablo Picasso!

Antonio Pablo Picasson

This is a perfect fit!!

Antonio Banderas is going to be playing legendary painter, Pablo Picasso!!

The upcoming docudrama, is called 33 Dias, which, if you didn't know, is 33 Days in English. You never know.

Anyway — the film will follow Picasso during the 33 days it took to paint Guernica, which is considered a masterpiece.

Here's what Antonio had to say:

"[Picasso] is a character that has pursued me for a long time and I always rejected. He deserves a lot of respect because I am from Malaga, and I was born four blocks from where he was born."

Wow! Just four blocks!

Sounds like it's a role that he's destined to play!!

What do U guys think?? Perfect fit or what??

IM just surprised the Merryl Streep didn't get the part

Re: MR Pete – HAHA right! yea this is bound to be a future #OSCAR contender for Antonio which is a good reason to have hug mainstream comeback as a human actor instead of Puss in boots or indie Alma award winning films so success with those 2 things makes sense to win a globe & oscar for this. its fitting role as was Helen Mirren as Quen Elizabeth and Meryl streep as thatcher. Though I deeply feel Leo should have got some huge award this year for J. Edgar.

if it's a dynamite script- depending on what other movies come out- this would make hi a serious Oscar contender or perhaps winner

Good thing they got a real Spanish man to do the role of another real Spanish man and not some island Hispanic from the states who is not the real thing.
