Guess they're hoping the original format will get them where they want to be!
Before Nicole Scherzinger was fired from her judging position on X Factor, she and the also-axed Steve Jones were set to appear on the reality competition as dual hosts! Unfortunately, the former Pussycat Doll took over for Cheryl Cole on the judges panel when SHE was also given the boot, and we all know how that turned out!
However, for the second season, FremantleMedia's North American CEO Cecile Frot-Coutaz has revealed that they are going to bring back the original idea of having two hosts working together!
"Simon's vision was always to have a man and woman host this and to make it feel a little bit like an award ceremony. A glamorous girl and a good-looking guy doing a kind of double act. There was no way around it. In terms of making the show feel different, everyone felt we needed to put it in a different situation."
But remember when Ryan Seacrest wasn't the only host of American Idol back that first year?
Yeah, we don't really, either!
So who knows if this - and the replacement judges - will have what it takes to propel this show into ratings gold?!
What do U think?? Are all the X Factor changes worth it??
