No matter your reading pleasure, you read about Whitney Houston's tragic death this past week.
Which is why it was a great week for the paps.
All the tabs and magazine had a photo of the late singer and sales skyrocketed. The biggest beneficiary was People, who sold 1.5 million copies with its Triumph and Tragedy cover. Us Weekly and In Touch also did well, selling 710K and 625K copies respectively.
The only mag not to feature Whitney at all was OK, which only sold 200,000 but this could be due to their early release schedule.
The world's still hurting and people want to find more about her death.
The Whitney Effect loomed large over the magazine world.
