Aww!!! Poor Nick Nick!!

So U should know by now that Nick Jonas took Darren Criss' place in the Broadway show How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.

We mean, we've been talking about it for, like, ever.

But since he's been starring in it, sales have dropped nearly 40%!! Ouch!!

And he JUST broke up with Delta Goodrem too… sadsies!

But maybe he'll get a good self-esteem boost when he guest stars on Smash next week??

He seems pretty excited about it:

What I found to be really interesting about the show is that it is very real to how this whole world works. I did four Broadway shows before I was 11 years old and then went into recording and touring.

Yeah!! Totes.

And no matter what, we'll always love U, Nicky!!!

Lets face it, he's no Dan Radcliff

  2. 2

Well obviously what did they expect?!?!? Didn't they watch him in les mis before they hired him? The performance was embarrassing!

  3. 3

It may also be due to the fact that this is the toughest time of the year for all Bway musicals! February and March are the hardest time to sell tickets…

It really sad and pathetic that people can't look past his Jonas Brothers status. He started on Broadway and he clearly loves it there. People are so ignorant. Its not like he sucks. He's a professional. He's GOOD.

He's so cute but should really study acting and try to learn the craft. He is not a good actor. He has one facial expression.

I'd like to know if any of the comments were made by people who had actually seen the show? My guess is no.

First of all Nick is getting fantastic reviews for his performance. And not just from Jonas fans but from hard core theatre geeks as well. He's put a charming spin on the character Finch and has blown people away by his great vocals. His voice has grown and matured so much. Vocally I'd put him up against Radcliffe and Criss any day.

Also easily forgotten here is that Darren Criss was only in the production for 3 weeks. A small window of opportunity for his fans to see him. Nick's performances are spread out over 6 months which widens the time frame for ticket sales. There's a big difference here.

Nick has more than proven himself as a triple threat with this run on Broadway. He's doing a wonderful job with more and more people realizing it.

honestly the only reason i would want to see that show would be to see dan

Seriously Perez, where have you been? Those were his first week sales and they only dropped from 94% (Darren's run) to 77.5% (Nick's run). However, his sales are rising slowly but surely as of the 3rd and 4th week. Also, Broadway sales dropped in general that week; Feb. and March are know for sale lulls. Please get you're facts straight.

How can you support him in one breath and then title the article as if he is failing. Actually, your figures need to be corrected. Go check out the Broadway grosses and then look back at the same time last year with Radcliffe. Nick is bringing in almost the same attendance and profits as Daniel did at this time last year. This is the slow season on Broadway. He's also garnering only positive reviews from those who have seen him in this production. His voice is more suited to this type of vocal and his dancing is incredible. Attendance was up over the last two weeks because word is spreading. Why didn't you post John Stamos, Vanessa Williams, Jeff Bridges or Kristen Chenoweth's comments on his performance. All of them gave him big props! It all in the delivery Perez…if he's your friend then help the guy out and get off the bashing bandwagon.

I have seen the show and I just have to say that if you don't like Nick Jonas because of his previous work you have to put all of that aside. He is phenomenal in How To Succeed. The singing, dancing, acting, everything. I suggest that everyone go check it out. Its amazing.

maybe delta stopped buying all the tickets

good call getting rid of that no good skank

sales will go up again people just take time to adjust

Well DUH!of course ticket sales had dropped.and even if I went to see Nick in How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying,he would still suck.and if I went back in time to last year, when my BF,DanRad was in it,I would totally book a flight to see him. because he's got class.

Sales are not dropping and traveling from another country to see Nick Jonas in this show was one of the best decisions I've made in my life. Do yourself a favor and go see him. He is amazing!
