As reported earlier, Rihanna and Chris Brown blew our minds with their remixes. You know, the ones that they sing on TOGETHER. The pair have been getting a lot of slack along praise, but to the naysayers, we say this:
RiRi WANTED this to happen!
Super producer and singer The-Dream gives all the credit to RiRi when it comes to her Birthday Cake remix.
The-Dream takes a laissez-faire approach to the RiRi-Breezy affair, saying he just shows up for his friend, Rihanna, and gets it done.
He said the following about Rihanna's mindset:
For me, it's just music — two talented people doing a record together, doing two records together, and that's what it was. It wasn't about an incident that happened. The true thing really is to forgive, and… you want to believe in people.
This is about her. If she can forgive, that's where she is mentally. As a friend, it's like, 'Okay, cool. Let's roll.
It's just business as usual for The-Dream!
RiRi and Breezy do work well as a team, even if it can be volatile at times.
