Today seems to be the day for big casting announcements. Following The CW's reveal of the starlet set to play Carrie Bradshaw on The Carrie Diaries, ABC has announced that they have a rugged young man to play the beastly lead in their new Beauty And The Beast remake.
Scottish platinum-selling singer and stage actor Darius Campbell, known for being a finalist on Popstars and Pop Idol in the U.K., will play Shiro, a mercenary bodyguard and mysterious creature who discovers an unlikely connection with a princess named Grace, who has yet to be cast.
Another virtual unknown. We have a feeling this pilot season there are going to be a lot of those.
