Move over Chevy Chase, there's a new Griswold in town!

Ed Helms is in the lead to take over the National Lampoon reins, as a reboot of the Vacation series is in the works.

Horrible Bosses writers John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein will once again tag team for the film, as well as direct.

The reboot will follow Clark Griswold's son, Rusty (played by Helms), and his attempts at family bonding. Maybe Grandpa Clark will make an appearance … or better yet, Cousin Eddie!!!

How long has Randy Quaid waited for this moment?! LOLz!

Do U think a Vacation remake is a good idea?

Oh my gosh YES. That is an excellent Idea. though I loved the originals with Chevy Chase, Ed would be a great Rusty. And they would HAVE to bring Chevy and uncle Eddie back! I'm so excited for this!

Yes, especially because I wouldn't consider this a remake. More like, continuing the saga. I have a feeling this could be really funny!!

Once again proving Hollywood has run out of new ideas.

Zach Gilafankaka should be Cousin Eddie!! Unless they are willing to make it National Lampoons Canadian Vacation…
