Dakota Fanning Is Going To Bring The Water Works In Her New Movie Now Is Good!

| Filed under: Film FlickersDakota Fanning

Oh good lord.

Get the tissues out now. We're warning you!

It appears that Dakota Fanning is taking the Mandy Moore in A Walk to Remember route for her next movie, Now Is Good, as she plays a 17 year old girl who decides to stop treating her leukemia so can she spend the rest of her limited life doing the things that she'd like to, before she passes away!

And of course, things are complicated when she falls for her neighbor, played by War Horse's Jeremy Irvine.

Check out the just-released trailer (above)!

Yeah. We're already choking back tears.

It DOES look genuinely very good and funny, on top of the obvious sads, and Dakota's pretty brilliant in everything in which she stars, so yeah!

We'll definitely be checking this out! How about U?

would someone actually be able to look/act/do normal things when their body is failing? It's a ncie thought but i doubt it could ever happen

Actually, those with Leukemia in its final stages, has its painful sides, but when you know you will most likely die anyway and decide to go off the treatment, you have more normal days then you may think. Instead of wasting the little time you have left feeling nasous and sick all the time.

No I will not be watching it.. probably ever! I cant stand sad movies, Ill depress myself for days if I watched it lol. Im sure she will be amazing though and this, if its a good movie, will really cement her position as a truly great actress for years and years to come :-)

This doesn't look very good to me. I have to say, I'm a bit disappointed with the direction Dakota's career has taken. I felt like she was so skilled as a child, and could have been the next Meryl Streep. I hope she starts getting better roles soon.

    looks good.

Nope im not going to watch this, too sad!, after watching the movie my sister's keeper or something like with the girl with cancer, i cried so much and felt so depressed for days, i dont want to pay to feel so miserable later, no thanks. I hope the cure for cancer is found already and nobody else has to go through this in real life.

I love sad movies, so I'll probably watch this at some point.

No thanks, Dakota Fanning is extremely overrated. She's been overtaken by much more talented actresses in her age department because…well, she just doesn't have the talent with her one look stare.

  9. 9

no thanks. Sad movies that make me feel like there is no hope or that I am stupid are not my thing!

  10. 10

i cannot beleive she would consider doing this shit.. shes like a sci fi high up actress why lower urself to sickness movies it wont kill her career but cant really do much to help it .. borrinnggggggggggggggggggggggg…..

this is like exactly the plot of the book before i die

Awful English accent Ms Fanning, stick to what you're good at, wearing red contacts and trying to look evil.

  13. 13

I like Dakota, but that accent was horrible. Very unnatural, stereotypical and contrived. I'll see the movie, though. Hope it'll be inspiring.

  14. 14

SHE SUCKS AS AN ADULT ACTRESS. MUCH BETTER AS A KID. NOW SHE'S JUST AVERAGE AT BEST. CERTAINLY DOESNT HAVE THE LOOKS ANYMORE. REMINDS ME OF CHLOE SEVIGNY HERE…

  15. 15

Too similar to A Walk to Remember. Almost appears to be a knock off!

Not sure about this, lost a good friend in high school to this disease, over 100 kids at his funeral. Hope she can find a cure, this is supposed to be one of the more treatable kinds of cancer.

  17. 17

She's really annoying. Terrible accent. Unfortunately, I'll probably love it.

lame. It would had been more interesting if she fell for another woman. Just saying. boy/girl is so 1999
