Guess Sandra must be more of a Timex girl. LOLz!
Sandra Bullock has filed a lawsuit against a watchmaker for using both her name and image to advertise their product WITHOUT her permission.
The lawsuit states the following:
"ToyWatch USA intentionally and prominently used Ms. Bullock's name, photograph, image, identity, and persona in advertising, marketing, and/or promotion (collectively the Advertisements) to sell watches."
"Certain defendants, including ToyWatch, J.R. Dunn, and others, advertised the watches at issue as the 'Sandra Bullock Watch' and/or the 'Sandra Bullock Watches..'"
And here's what Sandra is seeking in the suit, along with punitive damages:
"[A] preliminary and permanent injunction prohibiting Defendants and their affiliated companies from any further use of Plaintiff's publicity rights and privacy rights (including without limitation name, photograph, likeness, image, identity, persona, voice…)."
Let's hope this all gets worked out soon! Sandy's got more important things to worry about right now…like her new (possible) boyfriend!
