Woman Tries To Ward Away Tornado Through Prayer!

Given the fact that 36 people have been confirmed dead due to this recent wave of tornadoes, we'd say it'd be worth trying ANYTHING to fight against these storms!

Check out the video (above) of a woman near West Liberty, Kentucky trying to ward away a tornado through prayer.

According to CNN, the praying woman and her friend who shot the footage both survived the storm.

We're very glad to hear that these two are all right!

Our thoughts are with everyone who have been affected by these horrendous tornados.

She sounds like someone who would listen to Rush Limbaugh.

How about instead of praying to the gods in the sky, you actually try to do something about it and get yourself to a safe place? Not surprised coming from Kentucky.

  3. 3

    idiot!

I saw this on the news last night and there is definetly something wrong with her. Would she stand in front of a train coming at her and say "Please God, stop this train from making ground chuck out of me" ? There is believing in your God and then there is having a mental problem and she has a problem. Oh, it has nothing to do with being from Kentucky nouveau 1. I hope you never have to encounter a terrible situation that all those poor people had to go through.

Perez : we'd say it'd be worth trying ANYTHING to fight against these storms!

Are you kidding, Perez ? God does NOT exist. You can pray all you want, but NOBODY is listening to you. *sign*

OMG it's the mom from "Carrie" !!!

  7. 7

Prayer…equally as useless as doing nothing.

Matthew 17:20 He replied, "Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."

To Perez and everyone who commented above:

Whether you are a person of faith or not, what type of American are you to ridicule and denounce someone else's 1st Amendment right to religious freedom?

Is it that hard to be respectful of others faith? To be honest this post is a bully pulpit!

Wow, she needs help and I mean that as kindly put as possible.

Re: smithygirl – We're just exercising our 1st Amendment freedom of speech.

  12. 12

haha where was your god when half your region was getting owned by a tornado.

    Silly religious idiots..

Re: smithygirl – she has the right to exercise her religious freedom and we have the right to mock her for her stupidity. yay freedom for all!

    bahahah what a nutbag

Re: Swedeheart – God thats so funny how idiotic and hypocritical you liberals are. It's ok to diss on Christians and you go "we're exercising our right to free speech" but if we were to call gays an abomination or say anything you completely ignore the fact that they are indeed doing the same thing as you. Exercising their right to free speech.

Ahh silly liberals, its ok to have an opinion and you're allowed to free speech. As long as its the same ideas, mindset and opinion otherwise you're screwed.

Re: Swedeheart – Yes you are and I never said you couldn't! My point was what kind of American are YOU to ridicule someones faith. I am glad that I live in a country that doesn't require me to believe or not to believe a certain faith. Where being tolerant of someones right to prayer and not mock them publicly is the standard of the citizens. I thought the comments were rude. Whether you share her faith or not, you should be happy that she had something (she choose prayer) to comfort her in such an awful disaster!

  17. 17

It's funny that you guys are arguing about this and whether she should have prayed or if she is crazy… she survived. haha.

  18. 18

    A. I am not American and B. I am not a liberal. Morons….

  19. 19

Don't care what the other posters wrote. This gave me goosebumps. And I do believe I saw that funnel cloud disappate as she was praying in tongues. Don't knock faith. Its all some people have.

Re: smithygirl – Shut the fuck up! Freedom of religion … know what else is in the first fucking amendment? FREEDOM OF SPEECH - which includes the right to criticize other people for their stupid beliefs, including their religious beliefs! Pieces of shit like you are why religion has run amok… cant criticize it, eh? How about this: Your god doesnt exist, and if he did exist, I'd spit in his face because he's obviously a fucking asshole! Anyone who believes in some MYTH like religion needs to be checked in to a PSYCH WARD. First Amendment… ever hear of it, you dumbass?

Re: Brains of the Operation – Sticks and stones will break my bones, but words will never hurt me! lol I thought you would like that phrase, it's on your vocabulary level! You have a real potty mouth, you must win all your debates with that!
