Fred Savage Is A Bonafide Comedy Directing Genius! Signs 2 Year Contract With CBS

Fred Savage

Fred Savage has come a long way from that little slice of suburbia known as The Wonder Years, and now, all the networks want a piece of him!

But it seems CBS has come out the victor!! Savage recently signed a 2 year contract with the media giant where he will be free to pursue projects of a personal interest.

It's rumored that one such project is a yet-to-be-named Martin Lawrence multi-camera studio production. The show follows Lawrence as a widowed father of two teenage girls who decides to become a cop at age 46.

The beloved child star has matured into a diligent director with a keen comedic sense. His directing chops have recently been busy masticating over current comedy hits like It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Happy Endings, and 2 Broke Girls.

Savage has also been heavily involved in NBC’s upcoming show Best Friends For Ever.

Fred was also nominated for a DGA Award in January for his work on Modern Family. PHEW!!

Oh, but he has so much more to give!!

Sounds like the Martin Lawrence project has some belly-shaking potential…what do U think???

wonderful to see a child star gone right
rather than another child star gone wrong
his family kept him grounded and he grew up with some common sense
    talented young man
have no doubt he will be successful in this too
….still love little Kevin in the Wonder Years
it was/still is a really sweet show
