Netflix instant is an alternative to expensive cable for some, but for cable subscribers it may soon be an added benefit!
The streaming movie giant is reportedly in talks with “some of the largest U.S. cable companies," which may offer Netflix on an experimental basis by the end of the year.
Sources note that this move could give cable subscribers an alternative to HBO's monthly fees, but at the same time, HBO could respond by offering their streaming service, HBO Go, to subscribers as a separate service.
As long as they don't raise prices again and this plan won't affect Netflix subscribers who don't have cable, we don't see a problem with it.
Do U think Netflix should partner with cable companies to become part of their subscription package, much like premium movie channels?
