Lionsgate Releasing Nicolas Cage Comic Book Heist Movie!
This. Is. Going. To. Be. Awesome.
Remember when Nicolas Cage's very rare 1938 comic book that introduced Superman got stolen in the year 2000? Well your memory is about to be jogged because Lionsgate is making a movie about it!
Action No. 1 is a heist comedy written by Reno 911! creators Robert Ben Garant and Thomas Lennon. It follows a group of comic book nerds attempting to steal the issue, but sadly, will not star Nicolas Cage as Nicolas Cage.
It MIGHT, however, star Jason Statham as Nicolas Cage. Can't wait! Let's hope he uses a few of the moves he learned while filming The Transporter on the geeky thieves.
Are U excited to see how Action No. 1 turns out? We're crossing our fingers it becomes a comedy classic!
