Harry Potter Website Finally Launching In April

| Filed under: Harry PotterTech Talk

Remember Pottermore

Remember Pottermore?

No? The website that was promoted as "everything Harry Potter" from an interactive adventure to being able to buy the digital copies of the series? That one?

Still no?

Well anyway, it's finally being launched in April, after a small launch in October showed them that it was "clear that our original platform wouldn't be suitable when millions more users came on to the site."

We're not sure if anybody is actually excited for it at this point, like they were back when there were early adopters…

… unless U guys are still excited? Are U??

Re: michele_s – sorry to break it to you, but it gets old fast, unless they've made some serious changes since they launched the beta trial

Perez, WHAT are you crying about? They said they were testing a beta. That's what they did. What would be the point of putting millions of users on a platform that couldn't support them? Are you mad at them for taking their time to do it properly? Do you think the Potter books are going to evaporate, or enthusiasm in them is going to wane before spring? Don't be so stupid.

Can we just get the e-books? I'm over it at this point.

Hell to the yeah.because I haven't been on Pottermore yet.and I so want to register, but I'm afraid I might get caught.because, when I was creating a YouTube account,no one was there, except my brother.who also has a YouTube account, but can't remember his username or password.so he gets on there through mine.

It depends on what the site ends up being like and how interactive it is. If it is just a couple hours of navigating around & then you've seen everything, not many people will be satisfied.
