The Hunger Games Too XXX PG-13 For England!

| Filed under: AnglophiliaFilm FlickersHunger GamesTeens

So, they'll settle for a 12A rating instead! HA!

British censors demanded that The Hunger Games shave seven seconds of footage for its UK release in order to receive the equivalent rating in the States, PG-13. 12A allows 12 year olds to see the film without supervision.

The film would have received a 15 certificate without the cuts, but producers wanted to ensure they would make more money reach their core audience, so they agreed to the minor changes for their fans' sake.

Now if only Bully could get some PG-13 love too! Kids need to see that movie too!

March 23rd is almost here! Luckily, young English teens can see the film too!

Do you mean England and England alone or are you just being ignorant?

And 12 means you need an adult

12A means that a kids under can see the film with an appropriate adult. why did you say that this certificate " allows 12 year olds to see the film without supervision" ? they dont need supervision when the film is 12 certificate either? besides the cinema ratings are not heavily enforced in England and Wales anyway. ID's are rarely checked because children that age dont have one to show.
