Eyes Open! Taylor Swift's New Song From The Hunger Games Soundtrack IN FULL!

| Filed under: Music MinuteFilm FlickersTaylor SwiftBookzHunger Games

Hell yes!

We knew it was going to be a good track from the preview, but now that we have it in its entirety, we're in LOVE!

Check out the full version of Taylor Swift's second single off of the soundtrack for The Hunger Games: Songs From District 12 and Beyond, called Eyes Open (above)!

Like we said the last time, we ADORE how seamlessly this matches the tone of the story!

It's unlike anything we've ever heard from her before, and we sincerely hope she continues with this aesthetic!

You've OUTDONE yourself, gurl!

We are seriously impressed!

Her talent is so underrated by the general public. Awesome song!

I co-sign dodgyend! This song rocks! Taylor is AMAZING! Great songwriter of this generation! IMO Eyes Open > Safe & Sound. I can hear this song being played in the movie or during the credits.

FYI this version Perez posted is a slowed down version of the track. It's distorted.

I agree with dodgyend aswell. Taylor is the most important artist of our gereration. This song is epic!!

Sounds just like every other of her sings. Nothing new.

Re: Adam8.5 – LOL @ you! You definitely didn't listen to the song. The topic is totally different from what she would write about, the music is ROCK. Not very Taylor but she slayed it! How the hell is this the same as all of her other songs? Too much Haterade!

I adore Taylor as a person and most of her songs are cute, but I do wish she had a stronger voice.

Re: SophiaT – She wouldnt be the same if her voice was stronger. She would just sound like the rest of them, I love her uniqueness.

i'm surprised that people seem to like this song so much. i think it's really boring. safe and sound is way better

I never post but as a musician I must point out, Creed (yes, That shitty band) wrote this song years ago and called it My Sacrifice. I adore Swift and dig some of her music but she's not my generation. She is gonna grow into a bigger star than she already is with a little more time and life experience. Certain melodies tend too repeat often in music and I'm sure this song has been written a gazillion times before. I know I've heard it (and probably even used the exact chord progression in my past). The only difference is the vocal melody and Swift does it justice. This song will be a hit with the teenyboppers and non-music types that don't realize that all modern pop is rehashed left overs from decades ago and unless people get adventurous and seek out something different, its really all just the same old shit. Like the song though. Great version on a commonly found theme!

Great song - the movie is not something I am interested in and saw the previews, bt wish all ofe cast well.

Lol. This song is completely different from every pop song out there right now. This reminds me of Evanesence and Amy Lee but still staying true to Taylor. I hope this is her new direction. She's pop country…listen to Carrie Underwood's new song…it's REALLY pop, the country pop artists are getting it right…where as everyone else sounds like one continuous dance song. Kudos for breaking the mold T Swift.
