We are still so elated over our SXSW event, not just because it was SUCH a good time - but also because we raised over $46,000 for the Vh1 Save The Music Foundation!!! That's more than enough money to reinstate a music program in a high school or middle school that has had theirs taken away!
Music education helps kids in math! Music education helps kids do better across the boards!
Without musicians, there would be no SXSW!
We are equally excited to be continuing to raise money and awareness for the Vh1 Save The Music Foundation, as we have chosen them to be the benefactor of all our events this year, like our big birthday bash this Saturday!
We couldn't have thrown such an amazing party and raised so much money without our friends at BMF Media, who have helped us every year since the first back in 2008 put on our SXSW event! And thank you thank you to all of the brands that helped cover all the costs! Thank you to Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau, SOUL by Ludacris, FIJI Water, X Factor,ZICO Premium Coconut Water.
And, of course, thank you to all the amazing artists and everyone at their labels and teams that helped get them to our "Night"! We love you Miguel, Cris Cab, Rosi Golan, Kimbra, Kat Graham, Ed Sheeran, Cher Lloyd, Dragonette, Kreayshawn, DEV, Timbaland, B.O.B, Jeffrey Tonnesen, RAC, Mia Moretti & Caitlin Moe and Feelgud.
We can't wait to do it all again next year!!!!!
Check out a great video on why we partnered with Vh1's Save The Music (below)!
