America Is Hungry For Hunger Games! Over One Million Tickets Sold!

| Filed under: Film FlickersTwilightBusiness BlitzHunger Games

It’s gonna be hella huge!

At least, that’s what pre-ticket sales are indicating!

Based on recent info from sites like Fandango and MovieTickets, grossing sales for Hunger Games on its opening weekend (this Friday!!!!!!) could reach $125 million here in the states.

That amount is cray cray!!!!!

To put it in perspective, Lord of The Rings only grossed $47 mill it’s first weekend, and the beloved Twilight sucked in $70 million.

Oh and if you do plan on seeing Katniss and Peeta fight for their lives this weekend, you best buy your tickets NOW as over 1 million have already been sold!!

This past Monday alone saw 80,000 vanish as quickly as the deserters of Panem.

Lionsgate is totally bearing their pointy lion teeth in a giant grin!!

Have U bought your Hunger Games tix yet??

The marketing and hype has been mind boggling.

This movie is overhyped. While the book is better than Twilight, i hope the cast of Hunger Games wouldn't expect the same stardom the Twilight trinity has. Because they would be disappointed. The cast doesnt have the x factor really.

And the guy who played Peeta? Please…he's too short. WHy he got the lead role for men is beyond me…
