Kristen Bell Talks Hunger Games Obsession On Jimmy Kimmel Live - Could She Be Our Johanna Mason???

| Filed under: TV NewsKristen BellJimmy KimmelHunger Games

Ummm…yes please!!!

K Bells was adorable as ever on Jimmy Kimmel Tuesday when the two chatted about House of Lies and Hunger Games.

Apparently, the Veronica Mars alum is SO obsessed with the trilogy, she had a HG-themed birthday party where she dressed as heroine Katniss.

AND, when beau Dax Shepard was suffering insomnia, a concerned Kristen read all 3 books OUT LOUD to soothe him into a slumber…and it totally worked!

Kristen admits near the end of the interview that she would love to be part of the movie trilogy, but the only character she could play, age-wise, is the serious champion Johanna Mason.

Do it to it girl!! We would LOVE to see you fighting against the capitol!!

Ch-ch-check out the simply effervescent Kristen gush over Hunger Games (above).

Do U think she could portray Johanna???

    Johanna=Naya Rivera from Glee

I live for Kristen Bell. I just want to eat her up.

  3. 3

The books suck! The first one was good the last two sucked! Especially the last one. You think you where reading about vampires or porn stars because of all the sucking.

  4. 4

Shes totally not what I pictured, but I think she could pull it off…

NOT NAYA RIVERA!!! I'm a huge HG fan but if she's in it I won't watch it. All I see when I look at her face is her upper lip because it looks like she had it enlarged like the people of the capitol. She can play Enobaria LOL

EIther Kristen Bell or Pheobe Tonkin for Johanna!!!

You do know Johanna never actually FOUGHT in the capitol in the books right mister huge Hunger Games fan? She didn't make it there because she had a breakdown when they flooded the simulation streets? Or did you forget?

I love Kristin, but that role should definitely go to Naya Rivera, she would be perfect!!!!!

  7. 7

i would much rather see Naya Rivera as Johanna. Kristen Bell doesnt seem bitchy enough to play Johanna. I could never see Kristen as her.

Johanna is supposed to have dark hair and brown eyes. I love Kristen Bell but if she plays the character then she better dye her hair and pop in some brown contacts!

  9. 9

No… Not Kristen Bell. She doesn't have "it" for the role. Someone more like Michelle Rodriguez should get the part…

  10. 10

No that is my role! ;P But I suppose if I can't have it, she may as well. I adore her!

i think she would be good as Johanna. Yes she would have to dye her hair but other than that i think she could play it well. Yes johanna is bitchy at times, but you are just type casting Kristen into playing the good sweet girl all the time. She has the acting skills to do pretty much any role that is thrown her way.

Naya Rivera? People are tripping! She has neither the talent nor real clout to get a part of Johanna Mason. Additionally I think it's silly that people are all like she has wide-set brown eyes and short brown hair so the actress has to wear contacts no movie keeps to the book exactly. Harry potter had blue eyes in the movies but in the book his green eyes are mentioned at least 50 times!

Honestly? Naya Rivera for Johanna Mason… ARE YOU PEOPLE HIGH?!? I love Glee, but ABSOLUTELY NOT. I wouldn't mind Kristen, but I think Kate Mara would be the perfect Johanna. And can I just say, Grant Gustin should totally NOT play Finnick. They need someone tall and buff, like Armie Hammer (who is PERFECT for the role, in my opinion).
