This Is One Badass Whitney Houston/Rihanna Mash-Up!

| Filed under: RihannaMusic MinuteWhitney Houston

This is absolutely INSPIRED!

And totally effing ROCKING!

Ch-ch-check out How Will I Know If We Found Love, a brilliant mash-up of Whitney Houston's vocals from How Will I Know and Calvin Harris' bumpin' beat to the Rihanna smash We Found Love, done by Joshu Ra (above)!

We seriously cannot stop listening!

Whit would have totally digged this!

Rhianna shouldn't even be allowed to SPEAK the name Whitney.

  3. 3

RHiana shouldn't even speak the name Whitney.

The We Found Love/I Wanna Dance With Somebody 'mashup' is better!

Surely this should be named Whitney Houston vs Calvin Harris? There is absolutely no Rihanna input on this version. Please give Calvin Harris his deserved credit. On another note, this is not "inspired". It is just two songs being played at the same time, with Joshu Ra, not actually having to do anything to it, except riding the wave of someone else's work and Whitney Houston's death.

Don't ever put those two names in the same sentence. Whitney is efffing LEGEND who could sing her arse off! Riri or whatever you call her is freaking robot who can only whine, its digusting to know her and Katy Berry are getting NO. 1's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whit we love you forever! Your legacy is untouchable!!!!

Re: amandajf1984 – Actually, if you checked Joshu Ra's soundcloud, the page where Perez Hilton actually got the song, you would see that he never said it is a Whitney Houston vs Rihanna mix, but rightfully credits the producer, Calvin Harris in the description. Perhaps the fact that there is no Rihanna vocal on the track makes it unnecessary to say she shouldn't be on a track with Whitney? Also, even though the concept of a mash-up is simple, it takes skill and a good understanding of rhythm and harmony to piece things together and make a good mash-up. And what did you expect? A mash-up IS essentially two songs played on top of each other.

Re: amandajf1984 – Oh and also, riding the wave of someone else's work?? Joshu Ra doesn't gain anything from this, he's just a guy that made a mash-up that happened to cross the path of someone that liked it and put it on their website. It's not like he published it as his own and is trying to deceive you in any way. Pretty straightforward.

This is actually a great mashup. Would have been even better if they could've made Whitney's vocals more clear.

If you don't think hit songs are formuleic in origin, think again.
