Fake Kazakhstan Anthem From Borat Plays During Medal Ceremony For Athlete From Kazakhstan!

| Filed under: Film FlickersWacky, Tacky & TrueSilly!

Holy shizz! Talk about making a MAJOR mistake! LOL!

Organizers of Kuwait's 10th Arab Shooting Championship thought it would be funny accidentally downloaded and played the fake (and incredibly offensive) Kazakhstan anthem featured in the movie Borat when gold medalist Maria Dmitrienko took the stage to claim her prize.

She kept a calm composure, but it's pret-ty obvious she was a little peeved when lyrics like "come grasp the mighty penis of our leader from junction with testes to tip of its face," hit the speakers.

Accidents will happen, but c'mon! This was just plain ignorant.

Check out the video above to see one of the most offensive errors in sports history!

Let's hope this doesn't happen at the Olympics this summer…

Re: Lady Who? – No it wasn't hilarious. It was disrespectful. If it had been an American who'd won and they played "Yankee Doodle Dandy" you'd be out for blood.

  4. 4

Seriously, you can tell from the beginning that it's not the right song. Why would they keep playing it to the end? That's horrible.

  5. 5

When will you realize that this ass is just NOT funny!

  6. 6

If this situation had been reversed, the arab world would have rioted and some imam, someplace would have lost his shiz over it and declared a jihad war against the infidels.

She can't even fucking speak English you retard. She's just confused by what she's hearing because she doesn't know what it is.

  8. 8

    how does that happen …

Re: iamMRR – Google. They have to find copies of the anthems - so they probably googled it and this is what they got. There have been mistakes with anthems before. Personally, I think each contingent should bring their own to a sporting event.

Shameful. They should have stopped it right from the beginning…had this been an American anthem troops would have already been deployed.

  13. 13

Wow that's pathetic. I can't believe they didn't stop the track!

  14. 14

can anyone not see how racist and inappropriate his shit is??? He isn't funny and he's spreading hatred and is offensive. he should not be allowed to do this in the name of humor.

Re: Gay Republican – She probably can speak English. Retard.

  16. 16

    LOL! Too funny!

  17. 17

she looked like she was waiting in a lineup to buy coffee…she didn't seem so outrageously angry and upset like you implied, frankly i was more shocked watching and listening to it than she was!

  18. 18

LOL. It is funny..mistakes happend and obviously I don't think they understood english. I mean if that happened here in the US and they played a innapropiate song I would also laugh! lol.

What a damn shame. They were probably like, 'Kazakhstan? That's a real place?' 'I guess, but we don't have their Anthem. What are we gonna do?' 'Quick, grab my Borat dvd, it's on there. Thank God I never leave home without it.' Hope they get fired.

Re: rosebud99 – TRUE,,, They should have their OWN Anthems.

Re: Brains of the Operation – No she can't you fucking moron. You think these people learn English? THEY DON'T. She's not from Germany or France. She's from fucking Kazakhstan.

  22. 22

It's clear that no one there spoke English or realized it was the wrong song besides her. She was polite enough to stand there and pretend they didn't make the mistake. If anyone there knew what was being sung, they obviously would have shut if off immediately and it would have been clear on the tape.

Re: rosebud99 – I agree with your idea. For them it's a no brainer and they have easy access to a copy. But when you're trying to compile anthems from hundreds of small countries, it's much more difficult. And there's no way they could know the correct anthem for every single country.
