| Filed under: Film FlickersShia LaBeoufTom Hardy

Oh, hello gentlemen!

The new Terrence Malick flick Lawless, formerly known as The Wettest County, stars the seksi Tom Hardy and Shia LaBeouf and now we have a first look at their hawtness (above)!

The movie is set in depression-era Franklin County, Virginia and features Tom and Shia as two bootlegging moonshiners during the prohibition.

All we care about is seeing these boys in period costumes and acting all rough and gruff.

It's set to be released August 31st!!

Ummmm…what? No no no. Lawless hasn't even begun filming yet and stars Christian Bale, Ryan Gosling, Rooney Mara and is set around the music industry circa now! The Wettest County is a completely separate film directed by John Hillcoat. You guys need fact checker like CRAZY!

Re: sophaloph – It only took me like two seconds in IMDB to make sure the title hadn't been changed, and you're ABSOLUTELY right. If Perez knows the plot and when it comes out, why doesn't he know the right title? I can read over the (annoying) misspelling and grammar of every post but not the false information. Anyways, these two look more polished than what I thought their costume would be. I thought Shia's wildman beard was for this? I guess it was an unfortunate personal choice, but I still love him!

Re: sophaloph – Actually, the film is being released as "Lawless". IMDB may not have been updated to reflect this very recent change. Terrence Malick gave the name to John Hillcoat.
