Last week, we saw the first pics of Hugh Jackman as Les Misérables' Jean Valjean and now we have the FIRST still pic from the film!!!
This is the first ever film adaption of the musical and stars Jackman alongside Russell Crowe and Anne Hathaway!!

Les Misérables is slated for a December 2012 premiere and is already highly anticipated!!!

Not the first film adaptation. There was one in the late 90's with Liam Neeson, Geoffrey Rush, Uma Thurman, and Claire Danes.
I agree with Yoyo. Definitely not the first film adaptation because I remember the 90s version very well.
First adaptation because this version directed by Tom Hooper is from the musical Les Miserables written by Claude-Michel Schonberg, not from Victor Hugo's novel like the movie with Liam Neeson.
