Hmph!!! Who do they think they are???
Poor 90-year old Audrey Geisel was just about to have security cameras installed when she realized her 2-foot bronze Lorax was missing from her garden!
The love of Dr. Seuss' life discovered foot prints, suggesting the "family pet" was dragged across the dirt, pulled over a fence, and then probably thrown into the back of a truck.
I want very badly to get our little Lorax back home where he belongs. Wherever he is, he’s scared, lonely and hungry. He’s not just a hunk of metal to us. He was a family pet.
I hope he hasn’t been taken across the border into Tijuana for scrap. Worst-case scenario, I’ll get the foundry to create another one, but he won’t be the same.
Awww…. this is so sad!!!
Seriously… return it, thief!! She won't press charges, she promises.
And we believe her! But if you don't, then we hope you can live with the guilt of taking Mrs. Seuss' beloved statue pet! Ugh…
