Charlie Sheen Reveals First Images Of Anger Management On Today

| Filed under: TV NewsAshton KutcherCharlie Sheen

On top of apologizing for his massive meltdown on Thursday's Today, Charlie Sheen revealed some inneresting deets about his upcoming sitcom Anger Management — INCLUDING the first two still images from the show!

It definitely has a familiar sitcom look to it, which is new for FX original programming, but that seems to be an environment where Charlie flourishes.

When asked what his new character is like, the actor on the rebound told Matt Lauer:

"He's flawed. He's an ex-ball player who had anger issues, whose career ended because of an incident…trying to break a bat, you know, didn't go well. He's a guy that just wants to give something back."

Charlie points out, and we agree, that he seemed to be the perfect man for the job based on his own "flawed" characteristics.

That's not all he covered either. The troubled sitcom star talked about a variety of issues, including his sobriety and his harsh criticism of Ashton Kutcher's performance on Two and a Half Men.

If you're a fan of the MaSheen, we definitely recommend watching the entire interview above. If you're just looking for a sneak peak of Anger Management, just fast forward to the 06:10 mark for two stills. Enjoy!

Are U excited for the premiere of Charlie's latest television project?

Charlie is very intelligent, charming and a great entertainer, but that means nothing when he's also extremely abusive towards his partners and do not care about his own children. The guy is a narcissist with traits of bipolar disorder, and should not be applauded for being the arse that he is. Funny guy, but an arse nonetheless.

Re: Everything popular is wrong. – I agree w/ much of w/ almost all of what you have said. I believe his mania is because of his drug abuse and excesses. I hate mingling mental illness w/ bad behavior. One question, the sound he makes when he speaks is that from prolonged drug use? It's as if he has no nose cavity?

Re: Comments off C off – Mental illness/personality disorders and bad behaviour can often go hand in hand, to put it mildly. Really depends on which disorder we are talking about, but Charlie being a narcissist is no excuse, only an explanation for his bad behaviour. Bipolar disorder however, might be an 'excuse' to a certain extent. About the sounds that he makes when he speaks, you might be on to something. Drugs certainly do affect your voice among other things when used over a long period of time. Just listen to Lindsay Lohan.
