Happy Endings Eases Upwards, Whitney And Chelsea Don’t Bring Laughs

| Filed under: TV NewsAmerican Idol

NBC is not a happy puppy these days!

Last night, both of NBC’s female-centric comedies Whitney and Chelsea ended their freshman season’s on a low note; Whitney sank 6% from last week, and Chelsea came crashing down the ratings rope by 14% (!)

ABC’s comrade-comedy Happy Endings rose 6%, regardless of the Modern Family re-run preceding it!

Fox dominated the night with American Idol, which was up by 10% from last week.

What were you watching last night???

Whitney and Chelsea both suck big time. Chelsea goes for the vulgar over humor and Whitney is not only vulgar but stupid.

I won't watch Whitney when she's on Chelsea Lately, but I like her in this show. Really like her boyfriend in the show.

Whitney and Chelsea are so unfunny! They are terrible shows. I don't get how such a funny book "Are You There Vodka, It's Me Chelsea" can become such a bad show. The lead actress really bad.

I love Whitney!! She's a brilliant comedian and I look forward to show every week. Chelsea..I don't waste my time on.

Happy Endings is funny. The other two are not.

I like Are You There Chelsea but it doesn't feel real like everything feels so acted out…the same with Whitney…like they just need to make everything more natural feeling. Whitney achieves this better but then Whitney is really cheesy…its incredible to think that Whitney Cummings created 2 Broke Girls which is great but her own show is sub par. I think these two shows still have a chance but they gotta revamp a lot next season…make it more believable and natural…everything feels so played out and stiff…it feels like a disney channel show.
