Eric McCormack: I’m Pissing Off My Will & Grace Fans

He's a total dick now!

Well… at least he's acting like one.

Emmy winner Eric McCormack says that Will & Grace fans HATE his character he plays in the Broadway play Gore Vidal's The Best Man.

McCormack says that when fans come to see him preform at his new stage gig are NOT pleased with him. According to Eric:

"People come in going, 'Oh, there's that nice guy from Will & Grace', and within about 20 minutes, they're like, 'Oh. I. Hate. That. Guy.'

It's a bit like a betrayal."

Just how different is his The Best Man character from his one on Will & Grace? Will Eric decribes his new roll as:

"Don Draper-meets-Rick Santorum. He's a monster, but he's an attractive monster. My character is the kind of guy who shoots first and asks questions later."

OOooOOooh! A bad boy, huh?
