Hopefully, this will hold us over until the new season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey drops later next month!

The Real Housewives of Vancouver, the first spin-off of the franchise to feature a cast outside of the USA, is getting ready to premiere on April 4th, and luckily, we've got our hands on a ten-minute sneak peek of the episode, so you can acclimate yourself with the new ladies - Jody Claman, Reiko MacKenzie, Mary Zilba, Ronnie Seterdahl Negus, and Cristina Kiesel!

Ch-ch-check it out (above)!

They've got the bling and look of our gurls, but our only question is:

Fingers crossed that the answer to that is YES!

What do U think?? Are U looking forward to The Real Housewives of Vancouver??

It's a sad day for Canada.

  2. 2

No thanks. More crap tv with stupid plastic bimbos.

  3. 3

America has been circling the bowl for a while, and now Canada is doing the same.
Re: Lady Who? – Yes, it is a very sad day for Canada.

  4. 4

Re: Lady Who? – wow … I'm actually a bit embarrassed to be Canadian right now.

  5. 5

Canadians need not cringe! Do you think any of the Real Housewives represent typical Americans?

    Re: Lady Who?Re: Meggie246524 – *Violent vomiting*
Wow.. Vancouver is now officially disgraced.

That blonde jewish lady in the FuGLY hat made me want to commit suicide.
The next urge was to kill whoever's sick joke this is.

This is horrible. I can't believe there's an xec out there that green lit a season order after this. That's an exec that needs to have their contract terminated by Bravo ASAP.

Perhaps this utter vacuousness might be superceded by some more Stanley Cup playoff sore loser riots. A few of these princesses caught up in it might liven things up a whole lot.

These women are atrocious and they really aren't that wealthy. It wouldn't take much to scrape the surface to find out just how much debt they are in. It's also amusing to watch how quickly the camera will focus on a certain area of the city, because if you lived here, you would know it's not that fascinating or stylish. I would also not want to be at some event that these women might be at, for fear of being part of some gangland incident as it's already come to light that one of the wive's husbands has a deep criminal background.

Vancouver is also a grey, dreary city that rains a good 10 months of the year. It's a dismal city, a good portion of the residents are chemically addicted to something, tons of homeless and social housing, but you won't see that on the show. The city is so small, everyone appears to be scrambling over the scraps. Vancouver thought Expo86 would put us on the map, it didn't. They thought the same with the 2010 Winter Olympics, it didn't. It's amazing how often when I'm travelling that I have to explain where exactly Vancouver is, it's the NorthWest. A small, try hard city that's far too expensive for it's own good.

I think Canadians are already being quite honest about the show, we know it's fake, we know these women who appear to have it all actually come across as very sad, mixed up people. Good luck to them. lol

why is a man in his mid 30's interested in this kind of stuff, what a fucking weirdo you are perez

  16. 16

I have yet to watch one "Housewives of… wherever" and I shall continue on my trend.

  17. 17

Re: Charlie Horse – Hi Charlie Horse. I am a Vancouverite and agree with your comments fully. Thank you for your insight. The real Vancouver is trashy and desperate.

  18. 18

Nice comments from my fellow Vancouverites. All I can say is you obviously have a very negative view of your city. YES Vancouver has it's problems, but so does every other city. Have you travelled outside of the metro limits?
I love living here, I get out and enjoy all the things the area has to offer, I love the fact that we are so close to the mountains, ocean, there is a ton of free stuff to do. Love the produce markets, their are a number of really great thrift stores.
As for the rain, yes it can be dreary at times, but I love how green our forests are, and how unlike many cities we don't have to worry about all the mud after the snow melts. Besides, I'm neither made of sugar or sh*t, so I'm not afraid of melting if I get caught in the rain.

  19. 19

Sheesh - lighten up everyone - it's only entertainment! If you don't want to watch - don't watch it - it's that simple. I'm sure you're all well qualified to be the moral police for the rest of society. That's the beauty of living in a free country. They are free to offer this kind of entertainment, and you're free to watch it or not.

Couldn't agree more with Vancitylady, this is a beautiful city with stunning scenery.

  20. 20

Did Bravo go to the UGLY casting agency to cast these women ? OMG they are all so dang ugly it hurts my eyes. Who in the hell is going to watch this crap.

  21. 21

Hey Perez…Vancouver is NOT the first international Housewives spin off…Athens Greece last year and Israel beat Vancouver…read the trades sucka!!

  22. 22

Sigh. This show is both embarrassing and disgraceful. The women are so horrible, in person especially. I'm sorry to see Vancouver go this route. So so very sad and embarrassing.

  23. 23

Re: Vancitylady – Oh yes. I mustn't forget we have the ocean and the mountains, because absolutely no other city in the world has either of those. Perhaps if you really travelled outside of Vancouver you would see that as well. As for the produce markets and such, EXPENSIVE! Especially since we are a port city, things should be cheaper. But of course we have to make ourselves seem like something were not. And really, thrift shops? lol How exclusive!

But back to the show, it's not going to last, those women have made fools of themselves and are now always going to be known as that mess that was on some tv show. Kinda like people still talk about when 21 Jumpstreet was filmed in the city and how they saw Johnny Depp at a club this one time. LOL

I can't imagine conducting business with those women and talking them or what they are selling seriously. Selling 30,000 muffins a day? Bullsh*t. First off, we don't have the population. And that's only one thing.

So if you want to waste your life and watch that kind of bs. Go for it. But don't feel sorry for yourself when others have spent their time living a life.

All of the people who live in Vancouver and are trashing it… are absolutely insane. Most of vancouver is a middle-class residential type of place, with exception to the downtown east-side (homeless/drug addicts) and West Vancouver, Yaletown and near Scienceworld are for the lucky few who have endless amounts of money. All of the suburban cities around Vancouver are nice in my opinion. So why all of the negativity. As for the rain? Vancouver is not stony-skied like England or Scotland and "dreary". It is in a Temnperate Rainforest, matched only by New Zealand, with the most biodiversity on the planet with the exception of the Amazon. A short drive from inarguably one of the best winter sports place ever (Whistler) and great mountains of its own, Vancouver is a great place to be in any season of the year. There are beaches, mountains, huge parks and anything else you could possibly want. Vancouver is great, and whether or not these women are bimbos, doesn't retract from how great of a place Vancouver is. Unfortunately, I now live in Kelowna, but I miss home. Get some facts straight before ragging on Vancouver. At least it's not a smoggy cesspit, like Los Angleles.

I guess in Kelowna you didn't catch yesterday's weather here in Vancouver. It was dreary and miserable. I'd take LA smog over being a wet poodle any day. Who really cares about the stupid ocean. When was the last time you swam in it? The beaches are gross, not white sand and you can't walk barefoot without stepping on sharp objects. It's not that great here, really.

Im from Canada, and was very disappointed in the show. Editing in restaurant was bad. Mary apparently a former pop star in Canada. We have had a few and I have never heard of her. The characters all look all low budge. Im actually embarrassed by this show. However Vancouver and Whistler are beautifyl places.

Re: Charlie Horse – Vancouver is a large city, your comments or completly biased with no evidence to back anything up. Vancouver is yearly listed as the most livable, most beautful city in the world. We are always top five city. I just think you wanted this show to be in Toronto, ohhh the bias opinion of someone who wants their city shown on american tv. Everyone knows what and where Vancouver is. Why do celebreties always come to Vancouver and not Toronto? Oh please.

  33. 33

Wow!! You all sound so bitter and…..jealous! Who cares, it is entertainment….trashy if that and I feel sorry for any woman who is not secure enough in her own skin to have to dress like a 20 something year old, and put needles in her face. No one will care in a couple of years about all the Housewives so no one has to watch any of it! And Vancouver is a beautiful city, but way too overpriced when an average Canadian cannot even afford to live in one of their own cities….it is all sad :(

The producers of this short film are both recovering addicts who have both spent time living and indulging with drug addiction in Vancouverâs Downtown Eastside. Today they are both clean and sober with multiple years of recovery The reasons for the making of this film are many, one being educational the other sharing with those who have suffered, this is a view of what life can be like in addiction and how extreme addiction can be The video was shot entirely in the downtown eastside it is a compilation of two years work with a variety of themes. We hope that by watching this work people will get a better understanding from a real perspective of what can happen to anyone who may slip through the cracks of society and end up with a drug problem. Some of the material may seem to be offensive or extreme but our experience has taught us that you cannot sugar coat a disease. If our work will deter any single individual from this horrendous lifestyle we feel our goal has been accomplished At this time I'd like o point out that we have had no formal training in video photo editing producing or directing this project ran both on emotion and desire to carry a message from our perspective.

Re: Charlie Horse – I wouldn't say a "good portion" are addicted. And you aren't really helping the city's case now, are you. Vancouver is a beautiful city with plenty to offer. It's rare in that it provides both the big city aspect as well as beautiful nature. I agree that the show misrepresents it, but I think you need to cut this amazing city some slack.
