Drake Turned To Drugs To Deal With Fame

Drake Drugs Fame

At least he's being open and honest about it, instead of letting it control him.

Drake has recently opened up about turning to prescription pills and marijuana to help him cope with fame.

Here's what he said (and we dare you to try and not read it in his voice):

"You get artists in this position who go crazy and don't know how to handle it. There are people who have killed themselves. There's the overwhelming stress, how tired you are, the weight on your shoulders of going out there and giving 18,000 people entertainment… it's a lot of pressure.

Have I sipped codeine before? Yeah, of course. Have I smoked weed? Yes. Do I drink wine? Yes. But do I do it excessively? No. I'm not a reckless guy. I do it all within moderation."

Reckless or not we say that you'd probably be better off without it all.

There are always much better ways to deal with stress than chemicals!

Blah blah blah. Weaklings. I wish I had money and fame to worry about. These types make me sick. They have the world handed to them, and then they blame the world on their issues.

I do not care for her stupid dress with the smashed boobs.

Problem with that is that you start everything in moderation but then your body gets used to the dosage so in order to get the effect you have to slowly increase the frequency and amount. Then when you try to stop; your body becomes dependent on the drug and you end up like Whitney Houston, Elvis, Heath Ledger, and you know the rest. I don't know any habitual drug user whose work was not eventually negatively effected.

Toronto's very own. While celebrities may have stress that us normal folk don't experience they do have a ton of money and opportunities that most people only dream of. If the majority of us can live our lives without drugs or alcohol, I'm sure celebrities can too.

Weed (Marijuana) is not a chemical, it's 100% natural. I am pro marijuana. Legalize and tax it. I would not mess with sipping on cough syrup that's addictive. and so is any kind of alcohol. Marijuana is the only one you can use 5 pounds of and not OD on. No one has ever overdosed on it. Not 1 person. It's an herb. A plant. The "men in black" (THE GOVERNMENT) make the rules, even if it is unconstitutional. I should have the right to smoke a joint in my living room instead of only being able to drink a glass of wine, or beer, hardcore liquor, etc. I think alcohol is far more destructive in this society than smoking marijuana. :)

And he made a friend who wears clothes 2 sizes too small! Also, who cares. Is he revealing this drug use to attract attention? Many people do drugs recreationally. It seems like its fashionable for celebrities to do drugs and then become clean and speak of how evil they are. Im sure that Drake is still doing these drugs today.

Did being on Degrassi for all those years teach Aubrey "Jimmy Brooks" Graham nothing? Doing drugs only gets you in trouble.

…and some in the industry have said that it's all laid out on a silver platter. Are artists enabled? Then they could steal them blind.
