Mel B. To Spice Up The Music Scene With New Material

YES!!! We hope her beats are scurrry-fantastic!

The scariest of spices has announced her official return to the music biz and plans to drop ~~a baby~~ an album by the end of ~~the world~~ 2012!!

Mel B. posted this statement Saturday:

"I'm overly excited to finally announce this amazing global partnership deal back home with Emi Music. I know I have mentioned doing music in the past but for legal reasons I was not in a position to release any new music. For my fans, I am happy and proud to say my music will be heard this year and that is for sure a promise I'm over the moon to say the least. Love me or hate me, Scary Spice is back, hahahaha!!!"

Girl, we cannot WAIT! There can never be enough spice in our life!!

It has been almost seven years since Mel B.released L.A. State Of Mind and this time she has chosen to sign with a non-us/non-uk company, making dealz with EMI Australia.

Perhaps Amanda Bynes would have been better off giving Miley Cyrus her bong!

The We Can’t Stop singer interviewed with Rolling Stone magazine for their July 4th issue, and revealed her fairly liberal thoughts on drugs and alcohol.

Given her stoner reputation, we’re not totally surprised. Though, when asked to clarify her penchant for weed, she said:

"You can't ask someone that and expect them to say yes... I did a song with Snoop Dogg called 'Ashtrays and Heartbreaks,' so people can put it together for themselves."

That sounds fairly straightforward to us. Mileybird then went ahead to state that she thinks there are things much, much worse than a little bit of the green stuff:

"I think alcohol is way more dangerous than marijuana -- people can be mad at me for saying that, but I don't care... I've seen a lot of people spiral down with alcohol, but I've never seen that happen with weed."

She added:

"As long as it isn't illegal, there are far more dangerous things. And it's legal in the state of California. So I'm happy to live in California, a place where you can be whoever you want to be."

Well, Miley, marijuana isn’t exactly legal in California unless you have a prescription, so we’re not entirely sure what you mean. But, okay...

As for her transition from Disney teen idol to mature pop star, she said:
