Russell Brand Gives Katy Perry Their Whole House

This is pretty admirable, and proves Russell Brand doesn’t want ANYTHING from Katy Perry

Russell Brand has surrendered his interest in the house he and Katy Perry bought as a $6.5 million love lounge, meaning Katy now has FULL property rights.

We’re happy the divorce is going to amicably…divorces are usually messy, but celebrity divorces even more so, considering all the $$$ involved!!

Good on ya, Russell! What a surprising, gentlemanly move.

Who says you need a prenup in Hollywood! (NOTE: We say! We definitely say!)

Had this been a girl, she would of tried taking everything…Men don't need to lay on their backs then take everything their significant other worked their entire life for.

    Unlike girls..

    Cool Move!

  3. 3

I would hardly call it amicable. Katy has her friends tweeting crap about Russell. This looks more like Russell walking away in disgust - wanting to end it as quickly as possible no matter what it costs.

  4. 4

He's probably moving back to NYC or London anyway so why would he even need a house in California?

  5. 5

Chances are that was mostly Katy's money that bought that house anyways, if not all. And Russell already bought him another house in Hollywood Hills (and it is ugly). Besides, he is really into yoga and following spiritual Hindu teachings and both of those things are about letting petty things go. He would look like a hypocrite if he tried to hold on to that house.

Re: KarrieBelle – 50/50..Doesn't matter who paid the most for it. Men get boned hard and 9 times out of 10 when most things are purchased by the male..

So do you want equality but pull the female card only when its convenient for you? I'd say so.

Who would want a house with bad memories in it any way!! If I was Katy I'd sell the thing ASAP!!

Re: rosebud99 – 100% agree with you. Katy's friends are tweeting slams against him and Katy's song "Part of Me" takes a poke at Russell too. He's not said anything negative or derogatory about her and seems to just quietly be moving on with his life. He's showing far more dignity and maturity than Katy.

I've always seen him to be totally in love with her…this is just another sign of that.

Re: NookiesWA – Who said I was pulling the "female card"? To be honest, if a marriage hasn't lasted long, there are no children, and no one was abused, then I don't believe anyone is entitled to anyone else's money. However, you keep going on and on making a villain out of women as if you're applying your personal situation to everyone else. Dude, she left you and took all your shit. GET OVER IT!

He is just showing once again of how much class he has. Katy will run around trying to hook up with whatever user comes her way, but this man, that she kicked out, was a class act. It is hard to find men like that any more. Russell’s heartbreaking tribute to Amy Winehouse and his dealing with this divorce has been OUTSTANDING. Katy showed her true colors when she signed the divorce papers with a smiley face. She appears to be moving on without much trouble.

I bet if the shoe was on the other foot and he had more money going in to the marriage, she wouldn't be as kind. At 27 she really has a lot of growing up to do. She's a vile woman, whose gimmick is that she is a preacher child. I like Russell, and respect him. He took the business out of the marriage and that is rare these days. Bless his heart

This just shows how much he adored her and respects their marriage! Sadly Russell and Katy are in two different places in their lives. Her career is exploding and he wants a more "stay at home - have a family" kind of a thing. I don't think anyone is to blame. And he seems to want to move on peacefully. Now - if her BFF would shut up and not start rumors about Russell cheating on her, everyone could move on.

I think he is suffering deeply from being divorced and fighting over her money would just make the pain that much worse. Russell has always seemed like a great guy; very intelligent, charismatic, witty, and delightful. I can't help but think he deserves a better woman than Katy Perry. She's beautiful, but she's not very bright and it appears as though they lead much different lifestyles.

You're happy the divorce is amicable? Bullshit, bullshit, and bullshit.

    Re: rosebud99 – I agree.

I don't know how anyone could stand to be around this girl, let alone be married to her. She gets under my skin.

Re: KarrieBelle – I've never been married. So nice try. Women are gold digging useless whores. Simple as that.
