Jake Gyllenhaal And Ellen Pompeo's Sidewalk Sex!

Once upon a time, a long time ago, when Jake Gyllenhaal hadn’t yet sexed up a questioning Heath Ledger or traded Pharmaceuticals for Anne Hathaway, he was just another fresh-faced, aspiring actor who went around making eyes at fair maidens….one of which was Ellen Pompeo!

At a press event on monday honoring Grey’s Anatomy creator Shonda Rhymes, Ellen dished on how she and Jake had crazy sexual chemistry before they even knew who the other person was.

Pompeo explained:

"[In 2002] I had met Jake a couple of weeks prior [to an audition] on the sidewalk! I walked into the room and I saw Jake and I said, 'Oh my God, it's you!' We sort of bumped into each other. He told me I was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. I said, 'He's 12! And maybe we'll see each other again and I should leave!'"

The director of Moonlight Mile, the film they were both auditioning for, sensed a connection and commented, to which Ellen recalled: “

"We were like, 'No, we don't know each other. We made love to each other not speaking on the sidewalk, but we don't know each other!'"

Oh, you crazy kids with your sex jokes!

And they lived happily ever after…

without each other!
