President Barack Obama's got a lot on his plate this year what with the election and all.

Yet he still will find time to provide a special introduction for the 50th anniversary of To Kill A Mockingbird.

The 1962 film adaptation of Harper Lee's novel will be shown on the USA Network this Sunday at 8 pm.

The film stars Gregory Peck as a lawyer in a small Alabama town who defends an innocent black man accused of raping a white woman.

Obama's special introduction for To Kill A Mocking Bird is a timely one considering all of the controversy surrounding Trayvon Martin.

We'll certainly be watching! Will U??

I don't really know how it has anything to do with the treyvon martin case as thats the story of an innocent hispanic man accused of murdering a black thug who tried to beat him up. That's america for you always blame the white person. The book is more bullshit. Let's face it the black man probably raped her

Obama should stop spending so much time campaigning and get down to solving the country's problems
If he were to solve the problems people would automaticly re-elect him without him hitting the campaign trail or ever making a speech
    .
when I see him campaignng so hard and criticizing Republican candidates-specificly Romney-it tells me that he knows he's lacking
he can not confidently count on his record/performance/accomplishments (or lack of) over the past few years to impress people to the point that they would not consider voting for anyone else but him
    .
even his supporters have been greatly disappointed in him quite a few times
but if he wants my vote he had better accomplish something significant in the next few months to get the people of this country back on their feet financially

so glad he's solved every problem in the US, that he has time for such triviality as singing, golf, basketball, travel and this.

For all the dummies that never passed their civics government class in high school, Obama is the President of the United States, he's SUPPOSED to campaign, yanno, like every other president before him. shut yer pie hole and pick up a newspaper or something to boost your intelligence.
