Anne Curry Cuts The BS With Samantha Brick

| Filed under: Icky Icky PooTV NewsWacky, Tacky & True

Some people might not be all about your time on the Today Show, Anne Curry, but we TOTALLY respect you for this interview!

A lot of people have been up in arms about Samantha Brick's narcissistic ramblings about how terrible it is for her to be so pretty.

Note how we said "for her" because the article was supposed to be about the struggles of beautiful people in society, and yet it wound up being all about her!

So enter Anne Curry, who is tired of people skating around the issue.

Watch the video (above) and see how Samantha reacts when Anne Curry asks, "Are you serious?"

This woman is insane. She is average looking at best. I know people who are much more attractive than her and they don't get anything they want. Delusional.

I watched Samantha Brick's interview with ITV, and then watched her with Anne Curry. The first interview, my opinion of her was such, that I found myself wondering if she was pulling some kind of publicity stunt. However, I was very mistaken. She, 100% stood behind her article. But, with Anne Curry, she seemed almost knocked down a peg or two. I don't believe this woman had any idea of the backlash she would receive from the public. Her Anne Curry interview almost made me feel sorry for her. Perhaps I am alone in feeling this way. She seems very lost and pathetic, someone who is crying out for attention, THAT SHE ISN'T GETTING AT HOME.

Yes, I saw her picture and I'm thinking the people of Britain are blind because she is UGLY. She differently doesn't have supermodel good looks. She not even cute and kind of looks old.

  4. 4

I've seen more attractive stray dogs than her!!

~5/10. Sounds like the internet knocked her down to reality. Somewhat manish jaw, overly large head, age starting to show. Not ugly, though, and better looking than some 40+.

You know what bothers me about this? IF this were a man saying what she was saying it would not get the attentions. BUT god forbid, a woman seems confident and has strong self-esteem. This just smacks of double standard…Even the most disgusting men think they are attractive, yet when a woman who is attractive says she is "beautiful", a backlash ensues…disgusting….LADIES: be confident and secure…who cares what the hating public thinks…because most of them are jealous pigs anyway OR just sexist pigs…

Prez, if you read the other columns this lady wrote you would see how absolutely sexist she is. She HATES women. She has a whole article about how she hates fat women even. This woman is so full of it she probably can't see out her eyeballs.

yea yea I think you are wrong. Someone else said what if brad pitt said it. Promise you he would no longer be famous

she makes a valid argument, you missed the whole point of her dialogue. beautiful women get misjudged constantly, with people thinking they're dumb and concerned with superficial things. wake up.

She made one excellent point, though. It is true, it is a taboo that needed shattering. Sensitive subject or not, whether male or female (especially female when it comes to this specific subject), like with everything else there are downsides to being above average, and that includes being attractive. There is a lot of truth to her original article, but the only problem is, she is not telling the whole truth about *her* case (look up her articles on how she uses her "sex appeal" to get ahead) - nor is she "objectively" that attractive. And boy, the social ramifications of hubris are certainly not mild.

Most British people aren't very good looking so to them, this woman is probably stunning. To the rest of the world, she's average.

    "I'm not saying I'm attractive…" - Samantha Brick
Yes. Yes you are. You made that perfectly clear in your original article, your FOLLOW UP ARTICLE, and television interviews!
I don't have a problem with Samantha thinking she's attractive. I don't have a problem with the idea that some women become jealous of attractive women. However to say that all or even MOST women become horrific, jealous creatures at the sight of an attractive female is ludicrous; and contrary to what Mrs. Brick says, this backlash she has experienced has NOT "proved" her point.
If you want to really "prove" your point or at least show a correlation, try doing an actual survey which will yield actual results–not these fake figures she's spouting on interviews (i.e., her 50/50 ratio in receiving positive and negative e-mails). Samantha Brick is simply a disgrace to journalism.

To be fair, any delusions of Ms Brick pale in comparison to some of the delusions of men out in Internet Dating World. Believe me – I’ve been dating them.

In my little fantasy world, Samantha Brick will turn out to be a media-savvy genius who made an enforceable six-figure bet with the editor of that grubby little publication she writes for that she could write an article that would get a million hits.

It totally could have happened that way. Totally.
