Because we hear the Vampire Diaries season finale is going to be one helluva ride!!

As the series flashes back yet again, we meet Elena's parents… right before they die in a horrific car accident. Whoops!
Remember, this is when Stefan rescues dear Elena, but in this flashback we'll finally see how it all went down that night.
Nina Dobrev recalls the scene as one of her terrifying:

Um yeah.. we can imagine!!
But obviously that scene won't even be close to the most shocking when the season 3 finale closes curtain.
In fact, Joseph Morgan reveals:
The biggest thing we’re going to get is a backlash at the end of it from people who are desperate to know what happens next. It’s going to be more dramatic than last year’s finale, so I just urge everyone to get ready for the finale to end and go, 'Oh my God! But what happens next?!'
